Suspended American Eagle in Full Flight

Suspended in full flight captures the emotion, power, and presence of one of America’s most iconic predators, frozen in a moment of pure majesty. Hand-carved with museum-grade realism and suspended as if soaring overhead, the piece embodies freedom, courage, precision, and the unmistakable command of a true apex raptor. Each wing feather, layer of shadowing, and muscle contour was carved and painted by hand, creating such lifelike motion that smaller birds instinctively avoid the area.

For collectors, it offers something rare: the ability to own the presence of a real American Eagle, its symbolism, its authority, its heritage—without violating federal protection laws.

Features

  • All dimensions approximate those of a real American Bald Eagle in full wingspan display:

  • Wingspan (full extension): ~6.5 to 7.25 feet

  • Body length (beak to tail): ~28 to 36 inches

  • Body depth / chest thickness: ~8 to 12 inches

  • Talons-to-tail vertical drop (in flight posture): ~2.5 to 3.5 feet

  • Beak length: ~2.5 to 3 inches

  • Feather layering: Multiple carved layers with natural shadowing to simulate lift and motion

  • These measurements honor true raptor anatomy, reflecting Jesse’s commitment to scientific accuracy and realism.

Interior Statement Piece

Collectors often use the suspended eagle to create:

  • A dramatic foyer centerpiece, positioned above a staircase or vaulted entry

  • A great room focal point, drawing the eye upward and adding motion to large spaces

  • A symbolic office or boardroom installation, representing leadership and vision

  • A gallery or mezzanine display, where viewers can stand beneath the wings

  • A lodge or cabin skylight installation, enhancing natural timber and stone architecture

Outdoor Uses & Natural Bird Repelling

Outdoors, collectors have utilized these eagles to:

  • Protect patios, decks, docks, and boat houses by naturally deterring smaller birds

  • Reduce nuisance bird activity around cabins, barns, rooflines, and garden structures

  • Anchor entrances, gates, pergolas, or porch overhangs with a predator presence

  • Create a stunning suspended display under covered outdoor spaces

Because the eagle is rendered with such authenticity, prey species—pigeons, magpies, smaller birds, etc.—instinctively avoid areas where the sculpture is suspended.

The Teton Welcome Bear

This hand-carved Grizzly Cub Waving stands approximately two feet tall and is carved from a single, uniquely branched piece of wood harvested in Wilson, Wyoming, just beneath the Tetons.  Jesse saw the natural fork in the wood and used it to create the cub’s waving arm without cutting, attaching, or compositing separate pieces. The whole bear, including the raised paw, grows from one continuous block. Finished in a deep dark walnut base stain with golden highlights brushed into the muzzle, chest, ears, and paw pads, the cub has a rich, warm tone that feels both rustic and refined.

Inspired by the proportions of a real grizzly cub only a few months old, this little bear feels happy, playful, and full of curiosity, like he’s just paused to wave while trotting along behind his mother. His expression is soft and welcoming rather than aggressive, an invitation, making him a charming “greeter” for an entryway, porch, or hearth.

Features

  • Height: ~24" (approx. two feet tall)

  • Material: Single-piece log from Wilson, Wyoming, under the Tetons

  • Carving Style: Fully hand-carved; natural branch used to form the waving arm

Stains & Finish:

  • Base: Dark walnut stain for depth and shadow

  • Accents: Golden stain layered on snout, chest, ears, and select high points

  • Protective: Exterior-grade clear coat for moisture and UV resistance

Construction:

One solid block of reclaimed Wyoming wood (no glued-on limbs or composite parts)

  • Naturally heavy for stability—designed not to tip easily

  • Expression & Pose:

  • Right/left paw (your choice) raised in a welcoming wave

  • Soft, playful expression evoking a young cub following his mother

  • Subtle texturing in fur for light-catching detail

Placement Ideas

Collectors have used similar cubs as:

  • A front-door greeter on a covered porch or stoop

  • A hearth companion beside a stone fireplace

  • A hallway or mudroom accent where kids and guests pass by and “high-five” the paw

  • A cabin or lodge entry piece, welcoming guests with Wyoming character

  • A patio or deck sculpture, adding charm and personality to outdoor seating areas.

Because of its friendly, playful posture and realistic form, it reads as both fine art and family-friendly décor—an heirloom-quality piece that feels like a real, young grizzly who stopped just long enough to say hello.

The Teton Newborn Black Bear Stuck in a Log

Hand carved a newborn black bear cub who slipped into a naturally hollowed log in Wilson, Wyoming, right beneath Teton Village. With his tiny head tilted to the side and peeking out of the log, he looks as though he has been caught in a moment of pure curiosity and mischief. His expression is soft, innocent, and irresistibly sweet, embodying the playful nature of a cub just beginning to explore the world around him.

Carved directly into the hollow of the log, with no composite parts or attachments, this sculpture preserves the authentic shape and grain of the Wyoming timber while showcasing meticulous craftsmanship. Each paw is individually detailed, from the tiny toe pads to the subtle curvature of newborn claws. The fur is textured in fine layered strokes, then finished with preservative-rich blended paints that add depth, durability, and a lifelike sheen. Both the log and the cub originate from the same Wilson, WY location, giving the piece a unified natural provenance. Newborn size but rich in detail, it’s an ideal wildlife collectible for offices, kitchens, reading corners, entry shelves, or any intimate interior space that desires a touch of Teton charm.
