A grizzly cub pausing to wave, about two feet tall. Carved from a single branched log from Wilson, Wyoming: the natural fork forms the waving arm, with nothing cut, attached or glued. Dark walnut stain with golden highlights on the muzzle, chest, ears and paw pads, and an exterior-grade clear coat. Made for a porch, entry or hearth.
Hand carved by Wyoming sculptor Jesse LaBenne from naturally fallen timber gathered in Wilson, Wyoming, minutes from Jackson Hole and the Tetons. Part of the Teton Bear Collection.
One of one. No two pieces can be made the same way again.
